Will you be successful here with Wealthy Affiliate? Before jumping in with the Wealthy Affiliate platform program, I ask myself the same question. Is this the program that will lead me to my financial objective or the financial income I want?
It is always good to have an idea of the income you want in the online business; there are other factors we need to consider other than just financial objectives. If we focus on money objectives, we can quickly get discouraged if we fail to make any in the first 2 to 3 months.
To be successful in Wealthy Affiliate, these are essential things that need to consider;
Determination and Focus
Determination of mental strength is the most important in this or off-line business. Once you decide to be part of wealthy affiliate members (Premium Member of $23.50 monthly or Yearly $235.0), you must have the mental capacity to persevere and be patient. So put aside first your money goal and focus on the training.
Today there is so much negativity around us. Be it in the media or online, and negativity easily attracts an audience. Just like the media, 90 percent of the news is negative. There is just too much negative news in the online business. People are talking about scammers—information of millions of dollars lost to irresponsible online profiteers.
My point is, focus on the positive side. Filter away those negativities talks and thoughts. Then, once you are in the Wealthy Affiliate membership, you only need to focus on the training. Suppose we can not listen to the news too much. Words are toxic, especially from the news. I, too, spend very little reading and listening to the news.
If you work hard, success will follow you

The rule to be successful with Wealthy Affiliate is to follow Online Entrepreneur Certification or OEC. Online Entrepreneur Certification is fundamental in Wealthy Affiliate training. Many season affiliate players here must indeed suggest so. I will revert to this OEC training manual if I need help or forget some steps in website building or others.
Never skip one lesson because we got bored or wanted to fast-track our learning journey. On the contrary, it is essential to follow every lesson closely. Understand the tasks and ask questions in the community or at the column below each lesson.
Do not hesitate to ask questions. In Wealthy Affiliate, all questions and inquiries are welcome. The training consists of text explanation and video training.
Have Patient
Online Entrepreneur Certification consists of 5 levels—each level with ten lessons. So, in total, 50 classes of 5 levels. Can you imagine how tedious this can be? So, my suggestion is to take the training one lesson a day. But if you can cope with the training, go to the next lesson by all means. During my working days, I just learned one study, and during my off-days, I learned 3 to 4 lessons.
In all, I finished the Online Entrepreneur Certification (OEC) in less than two months. And have a few of my website pages up online and ranked in Google, Bing, and Yahoo. The thing here is, the lesson is not complicated to follow. But instead, the online business setup is a little technical. The technical terms are entirely foreign to me. So my learning curb takes a longer route.
Worry not; Online Entrepreneur Certification (OEC) will cover all the Jurgen use online business. You are covered. LOL.

Three necessary attitudes one must have to be successful in Wealthy Affiliate are;
- Have the fire or determination to be a successful online business owner. Never get disheartened with negative news or comments from your outside or inner circle. My greatest challenge is writing in English. I never pass my English exam during schooling, and English is not my spoken language. But I get motivation from the Wealthy Affiliate community. Till this present day, it will take me 8 hours to finish just one blogging. LOL.
- Stay focused on your dream and goals. Distraction is the biggest enemy to achieving success. So spend less time on television, gaming, social media, and socializing. Be wise with time management. Anyway, once you move toward your financial goals, you will have more time with family or friends.
- Be patient with the (OEC) training. I manage almost entirely to understand the training and online business in less than five months. This is for someone with only secondary education (British Education) that never passed his English test and spoke no English at home.
- Again my advice, follow the (OEC) training syllabus seriously. Never skip any lesson and have a great patient in following the program. I bet; you will enjoy and have a lot of fun with the training. Especially when you see your first webpage is up online.
The above mention is the most critical attitude one needs to have to be successful in Wealthy Affiliate or maybe in online business as a whole. Be patient to make your first commission. Focus on Wealthy Affiliate education. Don’t worry so much about the money. Once you earn your first commission, you are on track.
